In a commanding performance, the Indianapolis Colts topped the Houston Texans 21-0 in Week 3 of the 2026 season. With this victory, the Colts not only secured their place in the early playoff race but also sent a message about their defensive prowess and offensive capabilities. Quarterback Anthony Richardson Sr. led the Colts with an impressive 215 passing yards and three touchdown passes, showcasing his ability to move the ball effectively. Wide receiver Deion Burks was a standout target, racking up 116 receiving yards and contributing significantly to the Colts' aerial attack. However, the ground game struggled, with Jonathan Taylor managing only four rushing yards, highlighting the Colts' reliance on their passing game. Defensively, the Colts were relentless, with Daniel Scott leading the charge with three total tackles and an interception that shifted the momentum of the game. The Colts' defense consistently pressured the Texans, forcing them into tough situations and stifling their offensive efforts. The turning point came when Scott's interception halted a promising Texans drive, allowing the Colts to capitalize and extend their lead, ultimately sealing the game.
