In a commanding performance, the Cincinnati Bengals topped the Houston Texans 37-15 in Week 2 of the 2026 season. This victory solidifies the Bengals' early-season momentum as they look to establish themselves as contenders in the league. The Texans, on the other hand, will need to regroup after a disappointing outing at home. Joe Burrow was the star of the night for Cincinnati, throwing for 230 yards and three touchdown passes, showcasing his ability to lead the offense effectively. The Bengals' offensive line provided solid protection, allowing Burrow to find his rhythm and connect with his receivers downfield. Meanwhile, the Texans struggled to establish their ground game, with their leading rusher managing only 7 yards. Defensively, the Bengals made key plays that shifted the momentum in their favor. Dexter Lawrence II recorded a sack, applying pressure that disrupted the Texans' passing attack, while Demetrius Knight Jr. snagged an interception, halting a potential scoring drive. The turning point came in the second quarter when Knight's interception led to a quick Bengals touchdown, creating a gap that the Texans could never close.
