In a decisive Week 16 matchup, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers topped the Jacksonville Jaguars with a final score of 35-17. This victory keeps the Buccaneers in the hunt for a playoff spot, while the Jaguars look to regroup as the season winds down. Baker Mayfield was the standout performer for Tampa Bay, throwing for 216 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his ability to lead the offense efficiently. KJ Duff also made a significant impact, racking up 107 receiving yards and providing a reliable target for Mayfield. Despite a modest rushing game, with Bucky Irving leading the way with just 21 yards, the Buccaneers' passing attack was more than enough to secure the win. Defensively, the Buccaneers were able to disrupt the Jaguars' rhythm, highlighted by Yaya Diaby's sack and Rueben Bain Jr.'s interception, which shifted momentum in the first half. The game's turning point came when Bain's pick set up a quick touchdown drive, extending the Buccaneers' lead and putting the Jaguars on their heels. With strong defensive plays and timely offense, Tampa Bay secured their crucial victory.
