The Denver Broncos secured a commanding 31-6 victory over the Cleveland Browns in Week 17 of the 2027 season, solidifying their playoff positioning. With the stakes high for both teams, the Broncos showcased their dominance at home, leaving the Browns struggling to find their rhythm. Quarterback Bo Nix led the charge for Denver, throwing for 216 yards and two touchdowns, effectively spreading the ball around to keep the Browns' defense on their heels. RJ Harvey added to the offensive fireworks with a strong rushing performance, tallying 93 yards on the ground, while wide receiver Jaylen Waddle torched the secondary for 116 receiving yards, proving to be a consistent target throughout the game. The Broncos' defense was formidable, highlighted by Jonathon Cooper's impressive four sacks, which kept the pressure on the Cleveland offense all afternoon. A critical turning point came in the second quarter when Cooper's relentless pursuit of the quarterback led to a turnover on downs, giving the Broncos momentum they would not relinquish. Despite a standout performance from Cleveland's Carson Schwesinger, who recorded 11 tackles, the Browns could not find a way to turn the tide.
