In a commanding performance, the New York Jets topped the Cleveland Browns 41-14 in Week 5 of the 2026 season, showcasing their dominance on both sides of the ball. With playoff implications looming, the Jets solidified their position as a serious contender in the league. Geno Smith led the charge for New York, throwing for 149 yards and two touchdowns, effectively managing the game and keeping the Browns' defense on their heels. Tyreek Hill contributed with 50 receiving yards, providing crucial support in the passing game. On the ground, Quinshon Judkins stood out for Cleveland, racking up 134 rushing yards, but it wasn’t enough to keep pace with the Jets' offensive firepower. Defensively, the Jets made key plays that shifted the momentum in their favor. Minkah Fitzpatrick's interception halted a potential scoring drive by the Browns, while Andre Cisco recorded three total tackles, helping to stifle Cleveland's offensive efforts. The turning point came early in the second half, when the Jets expanded their lead with a touchdown, forcing the Browns to play catch-up for the remainder of the game.
