In a decisive Week 4 matchup, the Houston Texans took down the Dallas Cowboys with a final score of 35-14, solidifying their position in the early part of the 2026 season. The Texans displayed a balanced offensive attack and a tenacious defense, proving too much for the Cowboys to handle. Baker Mayfield led the Texans with an impressive performance, tossing three touchdown passes while guiding his team to a dominant offensive display. Jeremiyah Love was the standout on the ground, racking up 129 rushing yards and consistently breaking through the Cowboys' defense to set the tone for his team. On the other side, Dallas's Matthew Stafford managed 206 passing yards, but it wasn't enough to keep pace with the Texans' efficiency. Defensively, the Texans were a force, with Malaki Starks making his presence felt by recording five total tackles, an interception, and contributing to the overall pressure on Dallas's offense. The turning point came early in the second half when Starks intercepted Stafford, setting up a quick touchdown that shifted momentum and left the Cowboys struggling to mount a comeback. Houston's defense held strong throughout, allowing them to secure a convincing victory on home turf.
