In a commanding performance, the Houston Texans topped the Indianapolis Colts 57-28 in Week 3 of the 2026 season. This victory not only boosts the Texans' momentum but also sends a clear message about their offensive prowess as they look to solidify their playoff ambitions early in the season. Baker Mayfield led the way for Houston, racking up an impressive 332 passing yards, while Jeremiyah Love dominated on the ground with a staggering 264 rushing yards. Zay Flowers emerged as a key receiving target, amassing 151 yards and contributing significantly to the Texans' offensive onslaught. Meanwhile, Bryce Young of the Colts threw four touchdown passes but couldn't keep pace with Houston's explosive attack. Defensively, the Texans were relentless, with Nic Scourton making his presence felt by recording three sacks. Will Johnson's two interceptions were crucial, helping to stymie any potential Colts' rally. The turning point came in the second quarter, when a critical interception by Johnson swung momentum firmly in Houston's favor, allowing them to build an insurmountable lead as they cruised to victory.
