In a decisive Week 18 matchup, the Tennessee Titans topped the Houston Texans 30-17, solidifying their playoff aspirations. With only one game left in the regular season, every victory counts, and the Titans made a strong statement with this win. Tennessee's offense was led by quarterback Cam Ward, who threw for an impressive 357 yards, showcasing his ability to stretch the field. Complementing his performance was wide receiver Calvin Ridley, who racked up 103 receiving yards, creating mismatches throughout the game. Despite a solid showing from the Texans' Joe Mixon, who rushed for 96 yards, it wasn't enough to keep pace with the Titans' offensive firepower. Defensively, the Texans were anchored by Henry To'oTo'o, who not only led the team with 11 tackles but also recorded a sack. However, Tennessee's defense made key stops at critical moments, allowing the Titans to maintain their lead. The turning point came late in the second quarter when the Titans forced a turnover, leading to a touchdown that shifted momentum firmly in their favor.
