In a tightly contested Week 5 matchup, the Buffalo Bills narrowly defeated the New England Patriots 13-10, securing a crucial victory in their quest for playoff positioning. With both teams battling for momentum early in the season, every point mattered in this defensive showdown. Rico Dowdle led the charge for Buffalo on the ground, racking up 86 rushing yards and providing the Bills with a much-needed offensive spark. On the other side, Drake Maye showcased his arm strength with 250 passing yards, while Romeo Doubs emerged as his favorite target, finishing with an impressive 114 receiving yards. However, it was the Bills' ability to control the clock and make key plays that ultimately sealed the win. Defensively, Cole Bishop was a standout for Buffalo, recording 7 total tackles and helping stifle New England's offensive rhythm. The turning point came in the fourth quarter when Greg Rousseau notched two critical sacks, applying relentless pressure on Maye and forcing the Patriots into a pivotal turnover on downs. This defensive effort allowed the Bills to maintain their slim lead and secure the victory.
