In a decisive Week 16 clash, the Los Angeles Rams secured a commanding 16-0 victory over the Houston Texans. With playoff implications on the line, the Rams' defense stepped up in a big way, denying the Texans any points throughout the contest, while solidifying their position in the postseason race. Offensively, the Rams relied on a balanced attack led by Blake Corum, who rushed for 59 yards, while quarterback C.J. Stroud struggled to find his rhythm, finishing the game with just 94 passing yards. Dalton Schultz was the standout for Houston, racking up 61 receiving yards, but his efforts were not enough to spark a scoring drive. Defensively, the Rams were dominant, with Quentin Lake leading the charge with five total tackles. The game's turning point came when Nate Landman intercepted a pass from Stroud, effectively halting any momentum Houston hoped to build. Will Anderson Jr. also made his mark for the Texans with 2.5 sacks, but it was the Rams' relentless defense that ultimately secured the shutout and the victory.
