In a crucial Week 16 matchup, the New York Giants topped the Atlanta Falcons with a final score of 30-21, solidifying their playoff aspirations as the season winds down. Both teams entered the game with high stakes, looking to secure their positions in the postseason race, but it was the Giants who emerged victorious, demonstrating their offensive firepower and defensive resilience. Giants quarterback LaNorris Sellers led the charge, throwing for 256 yards, while Nyck Harbor showcased his receiving prowess with an impressive 97 yards through the air. Carson Steele contributed on the ground with 49 rushing yards, but it was Tua Tagovailoa of the Falcons who kept the game competitive, tossing two touchdown passes to keep Atlanta in the hunt. Defensively, the Giants were able to pressure Tagovailoa effectively, with Darius Alexander recording a key sack that disrupted the Falcons' rhythm. Tyler Nubin's three tackles helped maintain control, but the game’s turning point came when Xavier Watts intercepted a pass, providing a much-needed momentum shift for the Giants and sealing their victory as they held off a late-game surge from Atlanta.
