The Cincinnati Bengals narrowly defeated the Baltimore Ravens 27-24 in a tightly contested Week 7 matchup that kept playoff hopes alive for both squads. With the win, the Bengals improve their standings, while the Ravens face critical adjustments moving forward in the season. Lamar Jackson showcased his skills for the Ravens, throwing for 306 yards and two touchdowns, but it was Chase Brown who stole the spotlight on the ground, racking up 111 rushing yards to lead the Bengals' offense. Cincinnati’s balanced attack kept Baltimore's defense on its heels, while key contributions from the receiving corps helped secure crucial first downs throughout the game. On the defensive side, Bryan Cook was a standout for the Bengals, intercepting three passes, which proved pivotal in shifting momentum. The turning point came in the fourth quarter when Cook’s third interception set up a touchdown drive that allowed Cincinnati to take the lead for good. Though the Ravens’ Marlon Humphrey led the team in tackles, it was the Bengals’ defensive plays that ultimately sealed the victory, demonstrating the importance of timely turnovers in a close game.
