In a thrilling Week 3 matchup, the Jacksonville Jaguars outlasted the New England Patriots with a final score of 45-34, solidifying their strong start to the 2026 season. The victory was crucial as both teams vie for early positioning in a competitive conference landscape. Drake Maye showcased his talent for the Patriots, throwing for an impressive 343 yards and three touchdowns, but it was Bhayshul Tuten who stole the show on the ground for the Jaguars, racking up 158 rushing yards. Romeo Doubs also made a significant impact for New England, contributing 123 receiving yards, but the Patriots' offensive efforts ultimately fell short against a potent Jaguars attack. Defensively, it was Jourdan Lewis leading the charge for Jacksonville with three total tackles, while Jarrian Jones recorded a critical interception that shifted momentum in favor of the Jaguars. The turning point came late in the third quarter when Jones picked off Maye, setting up a touchdown that put Jacksonville ahead and helped them maintain control for the remainder of the game.
