In a thrilling Week 3 matchup of the 2026 season, the Pittsburgh Steelers topped the Cincinnati Bengals with a final score of 31-20. This game was crucial for both teams as they sought to establish dominance in their division early in the season, and the Steelers managed to hold off the Bengals' late-game surge to secure the victory. Joe Burrow put on a show for the Bengals, racking up 375 passing yards and throwing three touchdown passes, while Ja'Marr Chase was his favorite target, amassing an impressive 268 receiving yards. However, the Steelers’ offense was bolstered by Taylen Green, who led the team in rushing with 42 yards, providing just enough balance to keep the Bengals' defense on their toes throughout the game. Pittsburgh's defense played a pivotal role in the outcome, with Cam Heyward leading the charge with four total tackles. The Steelers were able to bend but not break, forcing key turnovers that shifted momentum in their favor. The turning point came when Dax Hill’s interception gave Cincinnati a glimmer of hope, but Pittsburgh's defense responded strongly, ultimately sealing the game and keeping their playoff aspirations alive.
