In a Week 2 showdown of the 2026 season, the Chicago Bears topped the Minnesota Vikings with a final score of 34-23, marking an impressive early-season victory. Both teams entered the game looking to establish their dominance, but it was the Bears who came away with the crucial win, setting the tone for their campaign. Caleb Williams led the Bears' offense with a stellar performance, throwing for three touchdowns while managing the game effectively. On the other side, Kyler Murray put up solid numbers with 232 passing yards, but it was the Vikings' Trey Benson who was a standout on the ground, rushing for 104 yards. Despite Justin Jefferson's impressive receiving effort with 106 yards, the Vikings struggled to convert drives into points when it mattered most. Defensively, the Bears were able to disrupt the Vikings' rhythm, highlighted by T.J. Edwards' five total tackles and a critical interception from Devin Bush. The turning point came late in the second quarter when Bush picked off a pass, shifting momentum and allowing Chicago to extend their lead. With a strong defensive performance and timely plays, the Bears secured a vital victory at home.
