In a decisive Week 3 matchup, the Carolina Panthers topped the Cleveland Browns with a final score of 28-7, solidifying their status as a formidable contender early in the 2026 season. The Panthers' offense was in full swing, looking to build momentum as they eye a playoff push. Leading the charge for Carolina was Joe Mixon, who dominated the ground game with an impressive 191 rushing yards, showcasing his ability to break tackles and find gaps in the Browns' defense. Quarterback Bryce Young contributed with a touchdown pass, while the Browns' Taylen Green threw for 162 yards but struggled to convert that into points, leaving his team in a lopsided deficit. The Panthers' defense was key in this victory, highlighted by Adoree' Jackson’s two interceptions that swung the momentum firmly in Carolina's favor. Isaiah Simmons led the defense with four total tackles, helping to stifle any significant gains by the Browns. The turning point came in the second quarter when Jackson's first interception set up a touchdown drive, giving the Panthers an insurmountable lead that Cleveland could never recover from.
