In a tightly contested matchup, the Atlanta Falcons defeated the Cleveland Browns 28-20 in Week 14 of the 2026 season. With playoff implications on the line, both teams fought hard, but it was the Falcons who ultimately secured the victory, keeping their postseason hopes alive. Atlanta's offense was propelled by a stellar performance from quarterback Michael Penix Jr., who threw for an impressive 339 yards and led his team to crucial scores. Wide receiver Drake London was a standout, racking up 145 receiving yards and providing key receptions throughout the game. Despite a strong showing from Browns quarterback Taylen Green, who tossed three touchdown passes, it wasn’t enough to overcome the Falcons’ firepower. Defensively, the Falcons made pivotal plays that changed the course of the game, highlighted by Jalon Walker’s 1.5 sacks and A.J. Terrell Jr.'s critical interception. The turning point came in the fourth quarter when Terrell’s pick halted a promising Browns drive, allowing Atlanta to regain momentum and ultimately seal the win. The Falcons' defense stepped up when it mattered most, proving vital in this hard-fought battle.
