In a commanding performance, the New England Patriots triumphed over the Chicago Bears with a final score of 52-7 in Week 7 of the 2026 season. The win solidifies the Patriots' position in the playoff race and showcases their offensive firepower against a struggling Bears team. Quarterback Drake Maye was the star of the night, throwing for an impressive 432 yards and six touchdowns, leading a potent offensive attack. Running back TreVeyon Henderson added to the offensive onslaught with 117 rushing yards, while A.J. Brown emerged as Maye's favorite target, racking up a staggering 260 receiving yards. This trio's synergy proved too much for the Bears' defense to handle. On the defensive side, the Patriots also made their mark, with Christian Gonzalez leading the team with four total tackles and Carlton Davis III grabbing an interception. While the Bears' Montez Sweat recorded two sacks, it was the consistent pressure and playmaking from New England's defense that stifled any chance of a Chicago comeback. The game's turning point came early in the second quarter when Maye connected with Brown for a 75-yard touchdown, setting the tone for a lopsided affair.
