In a decisive showdown, the Las Vegas Raiders topped the Kansas City Chiefs 28-14 in Week 18 of the 2026 season, securing a crucial victory that solidifies their playoff positioning. With both teams looking to make a statement, the Raiders rose to the occasion, showcasing their offensive prowess. Fernando Mendoza was the standout performer for the Raiders, throwing for 142 yards and three touchdowns, effectively leading his team to victory. Brock Bowers added valuable contributions in the passing game with 65 receiving yards, while the Chiefs' Kenneth Walker put up a commendable 93 rushing yards, though it wasn't enough to overcome the Raiders' scoring onslaught. Defensively, the Raiders made their mark with Jeremy Chinn snagging an interception that shifted the momentum in their favor. The Chiefs struggled to contain the Raiders' offense, and as the game moved into the second half, Chinn's pivotal play allowed Las Vegas to maintain control and ultimately secure the win. The Chiefs' efforts, led by Nick Bolton's four tackles and Drue Tranquill's sack, fell short as they couldn't stop the Raiders from finding the end zone.
