In a decisive Week 7 matchup, the Green Bay Packers topped the Detroit Lions with a final score of 31-17, solidifying their position in the NFC North. With playoff implications on the line, the Packers executed their game plan effectively to secure the victory on the road. Jordan Love led the charge for Green Bay, throwing for an impressive 296 yards and three touchdowns, showcasing his development as a quarterback. He found Tucker Kraft frequently, who racked up 147 receiving yards, proving to be a reliable target throughout the game. Josh Jacobs contributed on the ground with 53 rushing yards, providing balance to the Packers' offensive attack. Defensively, the Lions struggled to contain the Packers’ potent offense, with Aidan Hutchinson managing to register a sack but not enough to disrupt Love's rhythm. The turning point came late in the second quarter when Love threw his second touchdown pass, extending the lead to 21-10 and forcing the Lions to play catch-up. Despite a solid performance from Jack Campbell, who made three tackles, the Lions could not recover from the early deficit.
