In a commanding display, the San Francisco 49ers topped the Atlanta Falcons 37-10 in Week 7 of the 2026 season. With playoff aspirations on the line, San Francisco solidified their position as a contender, showcasing their dominance both offensively and defensively. Brock Purdy led the charge for the 49ers, throwing for 250 yards and two touchdowns, while Christian McCaffrey had a standout performance on the ground, racking up 140 rushing yards. The 49ers' offense was relentless, consistently moving the chains and keeping the Falcons' defense on its heels throughout the game. Defensively, San Francisco was equally impressive, highlighted by Minkah Fitzpatrick's five tackles and two interceptions, which were crucial in stifling Atlanta's attempts to mount a comeback. The turning point came in the second quarter when Fitzpatrick's interception set up a touchdown drive, giving the 49ers a commanding lead that the Falcons could never overcome. Nick Bosa added to the pressure with a sack, helping to keep Atlanta off-balance for the remainder of the contest.
