In a dominant performance, the Denver Broncos topped the San Francisco 49ers 49-21 in Week 4 of the 2026 season. The victory solidifies the Broncos' strong start to the season and showcases their explosive offensive capabilities against a struggling 49ers squad. Bo Nix led the charge for Denver, throwing for an impressive 365 yards and contributing significantly to the offensive onslaught. RJ Harvey added to the Broncos' ground game with 78 rushing yards, while the 49ers' Brock Purdy kept his team competitive, tossing three touchdown passes. De'Zhaun Stribling emerged as a standout receiver for San Francisco, racking up 165 receiving yards, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Broncos’ firepower. Defensively, the Broncos made their mark with Justin Strnad recording 1.5 sacks, applying pressure on Purdy throughout the game. The turning point came in the second quarter when a key interception by Deommodore Lenoir of the 49ers could not swing the momentum in their favor, allowing Denver to maintain control and pull away for the decisive win. Overall, Denver’s defense complemented their offense effectively, sealing the fate of the 49ers early in the contest.
