In a decisive victory, the Jacksonville Jaguars defeated the New England Patriots 27-12 in Week 3 of the 2026 season. With both teams looking to establish momentum, the Jaguars capitalized on their home-field advantage to secure the win and improve their standing in the league. Trevor Lawrence shined for Jacksonville, throwing for two touchdowns and leading his team with poise. On the ground, Bhayshul Tuten contributed significantly with 87 rushing yards, providing a balanced offensive attack that kept the Patriots' defense on its heels. Meanwhile, A.J. Brown put up an impressive 193 receiving yards for New England, but it wasn't enough to turn the tide in favor of the Patriots. The Jaguars' defense played a pivotal role in the outcome, particularly with Foyesade Oluokun's interception, which halted a potential Patriots scoring drive. New England's struggles were compounded by the pressure they faced, with Christian Barmore recording two sacks for the Patriots, yet their defensive efforts fell short. The turning point came late in the second quarter when Lawrence connected on a touchdown pass, giving Jacksonville the momentum they needed to carry them through the second half.
