In a commanding performance, the Chicago Bears topped the Minnesota Vikings with a final score of 31-10, securing their second consecutive victory of the 2026 season. The Bears aimed to establish themselves as early contenders in the NFC, and they did just that by dominating the game from start to finish. Chicago's offense was led by quarterback Caleb Williams, who threw for an impressive 330 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his ability to connect with his receivers downfield. Zavion Thomas was a standout target, racking up 100 receiving yards and providing a crucial spark. D'Andre Swift contributed significantly on the ground, adding 69 rushing yards to keep the chains moving and pressure off Williams. Defensively, the Bears were relentless, with T.J. Edwards leading the charge with eight total tackles, ensuring the Vikings struggled to find a rhythm. The defensive highlight came from Jordan van den Berg, who recorded 1.5 sacks, applying consistent pressure on Minnesota's quarterback and disrupting their offensive flow. The turning point of the game was a crucial interception followed by a touchdown drive, which swung momentum firmly in Chicago's favor and allowed them to maintain control throughout the contest.
