In a commanding display of offensive prowess, the Chicago Bears triumphed over the New York Jets with a final score of 41-16 in Week 4 of the 2026 season. The Bears' victory solidified their position at the top of the standings, showcasing their ability to dominate both on the ground and through the air. Quarterback Caleb Williams was the star of the show for Chicago, throwing for 280 yards and three touchdowns, effectively leading his team throughout the contest. Rome Odunze made significant contributions as well, hauling in six passes for 74 yards, while the Bears’ balanced attack kept the Jets' defense on its heels. Breece Hall was a bright spot for New York, rushing for 85 yards, but the Jets struggled to keep pace with the Bears’ explosive offense. Defensively, the Bears were relentless, with Devin Bush stepping up with nine total tackles and an interception that shifted momentum in their favor. The turning point came in the second quarter when Bush's interception set up a quick touchdown drive, extending Chicago's lead and putting the Jets in a difficult position. David Bailey of the Jets did his best to disrupt the Bears’ rhythm with 1.5 sacks, but ultimately, Chicago’s defense proved too formidable for New York to overcome.
