In a tightly contested battle, the Miami Dolphins narrowly defeated the Minnesota Vikings 27-20 in Week 4 of the 2026 season. With playoff implications looming, both teams were eager to secure a crucial victory, but it was Miami that ultimately prevailed on the road. Malik Willis was the standout performer for the Dolphins, throwing for two touchdowns and leading the team in rushing with 78 yards on the ground. His dual-threat ability kept the Vikings' defense guessing, while also connecting with his receivers to maintain consistent offensive pressure. Kyler Murray had a solid outing for Minnesota, passing for 199 yards, but was unable to find the end zone through the air. Defensively, Miami's Xavier Woods made a significant impact with a timely interception, helping to shift the momentum in the Dolphins' favor. The game’s turning point came late in the fourth quarter, when Woods' pick set up a critical touchdown drive that ultimately sealed the victory for Miami. Despite Byron Murphy Jr.'s strong performance with nine tackles for the Vikings, it was the Dolphins' defensive play that proved decisive in this hard-fought matchup.
