In a tightly contested Week 5 matchup, the Baltimore Ravens narrowly defeated the Atlanta Falcons 21-18, securing a crucial victory in the 2026 season. The win keeps the Ravens competitive in the playoff race, while the Falcons will look to bounce back in their next outing. Michael Penix Jr. shone for the Falcons, throwing for 210 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his ability to find the end zone under pressure. Bijan Robinson contributed significantly with a solid ground game, racking up 79 rushing yards. On the Ravens' side, Zay Flowers was the standout receiver, finishing with 90 yards, making key catches that proved pivotal for Baltimore's offense. Defensively, the Ravens were led by Roquan Smith, who recorded 1.5 sacks, consistently applying pressure on Penix and disrupting the Falcons' rhythm. The game's turning point came in the fourth quarter when Smith's sack led to a critical turnover on downs, allowing the Ravens to maintain their lead and ultimately seal the victory. Xavier Watts of the Falcons made his presence felt with nine total tackles, but it wasn't enough to overcome Baltimore's late-game resilience.
