In a commanding performance, the Seattle Seahawks defeated the Arizona Cardinals 31-7 in Week 2 of the 2026 season. This victory not only bolstered Seattle's confidence but also set the tone for their aspirations in a competitive NFC West. Drew Lock was the standout performer for the Seahawks, throwing for 235 yards and three touchdowns, showcasing both his arm strength and decision-making. Emanuel Wilson contributed significantly on the ground, racking up 92 rushing yards, while Jaxon Smith-Njigba was a dynamic force in the passing game, finishing with 155 receiving yards. Together, this trio powered Seattle's offense to a dominant outing. On the defensive side, Julian Love's interception was a crucial turning point, halting any momentum the Cardinals hoped to build. Meanwhile, Budda Baker made his presence known for Arizona with seven total tackles and a sack, but it wasn't enough to shift the tide. The Seahawks’ defense effectively contained Arizona’s offense, ensuring their opponents struggled to find rhythm throughout the game.
