In a pivotal Week 2 matchup, the Las Vegas Raiders topped the Los Angeles Chargers 26-14, solidifying their position early in the 2026 season. With both teams looking to establish momentum, the Raiders emerged victorious, showcasing their offensive prowess while also capitalizing on key defensive plays. Kirk Cousins led the charge for the Raiders, throwing for 253 yards and three touchdowns, demonstrating efficiency and precision throughout the game. He connected notably with Tre Tucker, who racked up 119 receiving yards, proving to be a reliable target in critical moments. Meanwhile, Omarion Hampton of the Chargers fought valiantly on the ground, amassing 94 rushing yards, yet it wasn’t enough to shift the tide. Defensively, the Raiders made their presence felt with a standout performance from Nakobe Dean, who recorded six total tackles, and Malcolm Koonce, who notched 1.5 sacks. However, it was Hezekiah Masses who delivered the game-changing moment with two crucial interceptions, helping to stifle any comeback efforts from the Chargers. The combination of solid offensive execution and a formidable defensive showing ultimately sealed the Raiders' victory.
