In a thrilling Week 2 matchup of the 2027 season, the Los Angeles Rams held off the Green Bay Packers with a final score of 30-22. Both teams were looking to establish themselves early in the season, but it was the Rams who emerged victorious, showcasing their offensive firepower and defensive resilience. Matthew Stafford was the star of the show, throwing for an impressive 343 yards and two touchdowns, effectively leading the Rams' offense. Puka Nacua was his favorite target, racking up 120 receiving yards and proving to be a consistent threat downfield. Meanwhile, Josh Jacobs led the Packers' ground game, amassing 92 rushing yards, but it wasn't enough to keep pace with the Rams' high-octane attack. Defensively, the Rams made crucial plays at key moments, highlighted by Minkah Fitzpatrick's interception which shifted the momentum in the second half. Jaylen Watson's ten total tackles helped contain the Packers' offensive efforts, while Micah Parsons' sack for Green Bay couldn't turn the tide. Ultimately, the Rams' ability to stifle the Packers' drives at critical moments secured their hard-fought victory.
