In a decisive Week 3 matchup, the Jacksonville Jaguars topped the Atlanta Falcons with a final score of 27-9, showcasing their dominance on both sides of the ball. The victory keeps the Jaguars firmly in the playoff conversation as they look to build momentum in the 2027 season. Trevor Lawrence led the Jaguars offensively, throwing for a touchdown while Ryan Wingo emerged as his go-to target, racking up 74 receiving yards. On the other side, Michael Penix Jr. put up solid numbers with 191 passing yards, but the Falcons struggled to find the end zone. Bijan Robinson shone on the ground for Atlanta, accumulating 103 rushing yards, yet his efforts weren't enough to lift the team. Defensively, the Jaguars were formidable, with Travon Walker recording three sacks that disrupted Penix's rhythm throughout the game. Jalen Huskey added to the pressure with two crucial interceptions, further sealing the Falcons' fate. The turning point came late in the first half when Walker's sack led to a turnover, allowing the Jaguars to capitalize and extend their lead, ultimately securing the win.
