In a commanding performance, the Seattle Seahawks topped the San Francisco 49ers 39-12 in Week 6 of the 2027 season. This decisive victory solidified Seattle's position in the playoff race, while the 49ers struggled to find their rhythm on both sides of the ball. Sam Darnold was the star of the night for the Seahawks, throwing for an impressive 398 yards and three touchdowns, showcasing his deep ball accuracy and poise under pressure. Jaxon Smith-Njigba emerged as his favorite target, racking up an astonishing 249 receiving yards, making him a nightmare for the 49ers' secondary. Meanwhile, San Francisco's Christian McCaffrey could only muster 54 rushing yards, unable to establish a consistent ground game. Defensively, the Seahawks were relentless, with Byron Murphy II leading the charge with two sacks, effectively disrupting the 49ers' offense. The turning point came early in the second half when Seattle's defense forced a crucial turnover, allowing Darnold to capitalize and extend the lead. With that momentum shift, the Seahawks maintained control and never looked back, sealing a dominant win.
