In a tightly contested matchup, the Indianapolis Colts topped the Jacksonville Jaguars 17-7 in Week 7 of the 2027 season. With playoff implications on the line, the Colts put forth a resilient effort to secure their third consecutive victory, solidifying their standing in the AFC South. Offensively, the Colts were propelled by Jonathan Taylor, who dominated the ground game with 150 rushing yards, showcasing his ability to break tackles and control the tempo. Ty Simpson added to the Colts' success, throwing for one touchdown and contributing to a balanced offensive attack. Meanwhile, Trevor Lawrence of the Jaguars managed to pass for 177 yards but struggled to find the end zone, limiting Jacksonville's scoring opportunities. Defensively, the Colts made key plays that shifted the momentum of the game, most notably through Camryn Bynum's interception, which halted a promising Jaguars drive. Grover Stewart's sack added pressure on Lawrence, forcing him into uncomfortable situations throughout the afternoon. The turning point came in the second quarter when Bynum's interception led to a quick touchdown drive, allowing the Colts to seize control and hold off any comeback attempts by Jacksonville.
