In a decisive Week 6 matchup, the Houston Texans topped the Jacksonville Jaguars with a commanding 35-7 victory. With this win, the Texans cement their place in the playoff picture, while the Jaguars struggle to find their footing in the season. C.J. Stroud spearheaded the Texans' offensive effort, throwing for 160 yards and three touchdowns, showcasing his ability to lead the team effectively. De'Von Achane was a force on the ground, racking up 122 rushing yards, and receiver Troy Franklin contributed significantly with 68 receiving yards. This potent combination kept the Jaguars' defense on their heels throughout the game. On the defensive side, the Texans made their presence felt with a strong performance, highlighted by Will Anderson Jr.'s two sacks and Kamari Lassiter's interception. The turning point came in the second quarter when Lassiter's pick set up Stroud's third touchdown pass, extending the Texans' lead to 21-0. The Jaguars' inability to respond effectively on both sides of the ball ultimately sealed their fate in this lopsided contest.
