In a high-scoring showdown, the Green Bay Packers outlasted the Atlanta Falcons with a final score of 61-48 in Week 3 of the 2026 season. Both teams entered the game looking to establish momentum early in the season, but it was the Packers who emerged victorious in this offensive battle. Packers quarterback Jordan Love threw for an impressive 460 yards, showcasing his arm strength and precision throughout the game. Complementing Love's aerial assault was running back Josh Jacobs, who racked up 177 rushing yards, and receiver Christian Watson, who exploded for 267 receiving yards. Meanwhile, Justin Fields of the Falcons put on a remarkable performance with seven touchdown passes, keeping Atlanta competitive until the final whistle. Defensively, the Packers made key plays that proved pivotal in the outcome. Edgerrin Cooper's two interceptions not only stifled Atlanta’s momentum but also set the tone for Green Bay’s dominance. The turning point came in the second half when Cooper's second pick led to a touchdown drive that extended the Packers' lead, ultimately sealing their victory in this electrifying matchup.
