In a decisive Week 18 matchup, the Minnesota Vikings topped the Chicago Bears with a commanding 36-10 victory, solidifying their playoff positioning. The win showcased the Vikings' dominance at home as they closed out the regular season on a high note. Kyler Murray led the charge for Minnesota, not only throwing for a touchdown but also adding a remarkable 108 rushing yards, proving to be a dual-threat quarterback. His main target, Jauan Jennings, shined in the receiving game, racking up 106 yards and providing crucial plays throughout the contest. On the other side, Caleb Williams of the Bears posted 228 passing yards, but struggled to find the end zone against a relentless Vikings defense. Defensively, the Vikings were formidable, with Josh Metellus leading the team with seven total tackles and Dallas Turner contributing with a sack. However, it was Harrison Smith’s interception that marked a pivotal moment in the game, halting a Bears drive and allowing Minnesota to seize momentum. With their defense stepping up at key moments, the Vikings were able to maintain control and secure the victory.
