The Jacksonville Jaguars topped the Indianapolis Colts 31-17 in a crucial Week 18 showdown that solidified their playoff positioning. With both teams fighting for a favorable spot heading into the postseason, the Jaguars' performance proved decisive as they outlasted the Colts in a high-stakes matchup. Trevor Lawrence showcased his talent with a solid outing, throwing for 245 yards and leading his team effectively. Brian Thomas Jr. emerged as a key receiving target, racking up 85 yards through the air, while the Jaguars balanced their offense with a steady ground game that kept the Colts' defense on their heels. The Colts struggled to find rhythm, with Anthony Richardson Sr. managing just one passing touchdown. Defensively, the Jaguars made critical plays that shifted momentum in their favor. Travon Walker stood out with 1.5 sacks, applying constant pressure on Richardson, while Travis Hunter's interception proved to be a game-changing moment that halted a potential scoring drive for Indianapolis. Charvarius Ward Sr. led the Colts' defense with six tackles, but it wasn't enough to counter Jacksonville's relentless attack on both sides of the ball.
