The Dallas Cowboys cruised to a commanding 52-21 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 16, solidifying their playoff positioning as the regular season draws to a close. With this win, the Cowboys showcased their dominance, particularly in the rushing attack, leaving the Jaguars struggling to keep pace. Brashard Smith was the star of the show, racking up an impressive 302 rushing yards, a performance that left the Jaguars' defense reeling. Dak Prescott contributed with 129 passing yards and a steady hand under center, while Trevor Lawrence kept the Jaguars competitive with two touchdown passes despite the overwhelming pressure from Dallas. Defensively, the Cowboys were relentless, highlighted by Caleb Downs who snagged two interceptions to stifle any hopes of a Jaguars comeback. Jaishawn Barham added a sack, further disrupting Jacksonville's rhythm. The turning point came early in the second half when Downs' second interception led to a quick touchdown, putting the game out of reach for the Jaguars.
