In a high-octane showdown, the Houston Texans topped the Jacksonville Jaguars 45-24 in Week 15 of the 2026 season. With playoff implications on the line, Houston's explosive performance solidified their position as a formidable contender in the AFC South. Leading the charge for the Texans was quarterback C.J. Stroud, who delivered an outstanding performance with 579 passing yards and six touchdown passes. Stroud's connection with receiver Nico Collins, who racked up 469 receiving yards, proved to be a lethal combination that kept the Jaguars' defense on its heels throughout the game. While the Texans’ offense stole the spotlight, it was the defense that made key plays at critical moments. Zack Baun's interception helped shift momentum in Houston's favor, while the Jaguars struggled to contain the Texans' dynamic attack. Despite Bhayshul Tuten's impressive 256 rushing yards for Jacksonville, the Texans' defense managed to stifle their scoring opportunities, allowing Houston to maintain control and secure the victory.
