The Minnesota Vikings secured a commanding 49-31 victory over the Carolina Panthers in Week 13 of the 2026 season. The win not only boosts the Vikings' playoff aspirations but also serves as a crucial confidence builder as they head into the final stretch of the regular season. Quarterback Kyler Murray was the star of the night for Minnesota, throwing for 246 yards and four touchdowns, showcasing his ability to deliver in key moments. Jordan Addison also made significant contributions with 93 receiving yards, proving to be a reliable target for Murray. On the ground, Chuba Hubbard of the Panthers had a strong showing with 110 rushing yards, but it wasn’t enough to keep pace with the Vikings' high-octane offense. Defensively, the Vikings made timely plays that shifted momentum in their favor, most notably with Harrison Smith's interception, which halted a promising Panthers drive. While Minnesota's pass rush struggled to generate significant pressure, Dallas Turner did manage to record half a sack, adding to the team's overall effort. The turning point came late in the second quarter when the Vikings scored back-to-back touchdowns, creating a lead that the Panthers could never overcome.
