The Green Bay Packers secured a decisive 34-16 victory over the New England Patriots in Week 9 of the 2026 season, solidifying their position in the playoff race. With both teams looking to gain momentum, the Packers showcased their offensive firepower and defensive strength throughout the game. Josh Jacobs led the charge for Green Bay, rushing for 127 yards and contributing significantly to the team's ground game. Quarterback Drake Maye of the Patriots put up a valiant effort, throwing for 155 yards and two touchdowns, but it was not enough to keep pace with the Packers’ explosive offense. Terry McLaurin added a solid 68 receiving yards, helping to keep the chains moving for Green Bay. Defensively, the Packers were relentless, with Dani Dennis-Sutton making his mark by recording five total tackles and two sacks, applying constant pressure on the Patriots’ offense. The game’s turning point came when Evan Williams intercepted a pass, halting a potential scoring drive and allowing Green Bay to maintain control. The combination of a potent offense and a disciplined defense proved too much for New England to overcome.
