In a decisive Week 9 matchup, the Denver Broncos topped the Carolina Panthers 27-17, securing a crucial victory in their quest for playoff positioning. Both teams entered the game with high stakes, but Denver's performance proved to be the difference maker as they extended their winning streak. Bo Nix led the Broncos' offensive attack, throwing for 184 yards and three touchdowns, showcasing his efficiency and poise in the pocket. RJ Harvey was a force on the ground, racking up 108 rushing yards to keep the Panthers' defense off balance. Meanwhile, Chris Brazzell II was the top target for Carolina, finishing with 79 receiving yards, but it wasn't enough to overcome Denver's offensive prowess. Defensively, the Broncos made key plays to secure their win, highlighted by Pat Surtain II's interception that shifted momentum at a critical juncture in the game. Carolina's defense showed signs of life, with Jaelan Phillips recording a sack and Jaycee Horn making eight total tackles, but they struggled to contain Denver's dynamic offense when it mattered most. The combination of timely defensive stops and explosive offensive plays ultimately allowed the Broncos to hold off the Panthers and seal the victory.
