The Cleveland Browns topped the New Orleans Saints 31-22 in a pivotal Week 9 matchup of the 2026 season. With both teams vying for playoff positioning, the Browns secured a crucial victory that could shape their postseason aspirations. Cleveland's offense was spearheaded by quarterback Taylen Green, who threw for an impressive 305 yards, connecting with KC Concepcion Jr. for 89 receiving yards. New Orleans managed to keep pace with Tyler Shough, who tossed two touchdown passes, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Browns' offensive firepower. Defensively, the Browns showed their strength, with Tyson Campbell leading the team with three total tackles and Jared Verse contributing with a key sack. The turning point came when the Saints fell short on a crucial drive, and Jonas Sanker of New Orleans intercepted Green twice, but it ultimately wasn't enough to shift the momentum back in their favor. Cleveland's balanced attack and timely defense proved decisive in their hard-fought victory.
