In a high-octane showdown, the Kansas City Chiefs overwhelmed the Denver Broncos with a final score of 67-30, further solidifying their dominance in the 2026 season. This victory not only showcased the Chiefs' offensive firepower but also left the Broncos searching for answers as they fell further behind in the division standings. Leading the charge for Kansas City was quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who put on a dazzling performance with 624 passing yards and a staggering nine touchdown passes. Mahomes found his favorite target, Xavier Worthy, who torched the Broncos' secondary with 265 receiving yards and multiple scores. On the ground, RJ Harvey of Denver did his best to keep pace, racking up 97 rushing yards, but it simply wasn't enough to match the Chiefs' relentless attack. Defensively, the Chiefs made their presence felt, with Micah Parsons recording four sacks to pressure the Broncos’ offense consistently. The turning point came in the second quarter when Kansas City turned a 21-14 game into a runaway, scoring three touchdowns in quick succession, aided by a crucial interception from George Karlaftis. The Broncos struggled to recover after that barrage, as the Chiefs' defense stifled any hope of a comeback, leading to a decisive win.
