In a thrilling Week 4 showdown, the San Francisco 49ers outlasted the Denver Broncos with a final score of 45-35, keeping their momentum strong in the early part of the 2026 season. The stakes were high as both teams aimed to establish dominance, but it was the 49ers who emerged victorious in this high-scoring affair. Denver quarterback Bo Nix had a standout performance, racking up an impressive 453 passing yards and throwing five touchdown passes. However, the 49ers' offensive unit also made a significant impact, with De'Zhaun Stribling leading the receiving corps with 156 yards. Christian McCaffrey contributed with a steady ground game, adding 56 rushing yards to help maintain offensive balance. Defensively, the 49ers made crucial plays that shifted the momentum of the game. Nick Bosa was a force on the defensive line, recording 3.5 sacks, while Dre Greenlaw's interception added to the pressure on the Broncos' offense. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Bosa's relentless pursuit resulted in a sack that stalled Denver's drive, allowing San Francisco to secure the win with key stops.
