In a dominant performance, the Indianapolis Colts defeated the Houston Texans 38-7 in Week 3 of the 2026 season. With this victory, the Colts solidify their place as a force in the division, while the Texans are left searching for answers after a tough outing on the road. Jonathan Taylor was the star of the show, racking up an impressive 188 rushing yards, showcasing his ability to control the ground game and keep the chains moving. C.J. Stroud, despite the loss, threw for 209 yards and connected on one touchdown, but it wasn’t enough to keep pace with the Colts' offensive onslaught. Nico Collins also had a noteworthy performance, leading the Texans' receiving corps with 129 yards. Defensively, the Colts were relentless, with DeForest Buckner recording two sacks and Charvarius Ward Sr. grabbing an interception, contributing to a suffocating effort that limited the Texans' scoring opportunities. The game's turning point came early in the second quarter when the Colts forced a turnover, allowing them to capitalize and extend their lead, leaving the Texans in a deep hole they could not climb out of.
