In a thrilling season opener, the Baltimore Ravens topped the Indianapolis Colts 38-27, kicking off the 2026 campaign with a statement win. Both teams were looking to establish momentum early in the year, but it was the Ravens who left Indianapolis with the victory. Lamar Jackson showcased his dual-threat capabilities, leading the Ravens with 129 rushing yards while also contributing to the passing game. Anthony Richardson Sr. of the Colts put on an impressive performance, throwing for 293 yards and three touchdowns, but it wasn't enough to secure the win. Alec Pierce stood out in the receiving corps for Indianapolis, racking up 103 yards, but the Ravens' offensive prowess ultimately proved too much. Defensively, the Ravens made key plays that shifted the momentum in their favor. Roquan Smith led the way with seven total tackles, while Nnamdi Madubuike recorded a crucial sack. The turning point came when Kyle Hamilton intercepted Richardson in the second half, setting up a touchdown that extended Baltimore's lead and ultimately sealed the game.
