In a thrilling Wildcard Round matchup, the Cincinnati Bengals topped the Buffalo Bills 52-34, securing their spot in the next round of the playoffs. Cincinnati's explosive offense proved too much for Buffalo, as they capitalized on their home-field advantage to dominate the scoreboard. Leading the charge for the Bengals was quarterback Joe Burrow, who threw for an impressive 470 yards and six touchdowns, showcasing his ability to connect with his receivers. Tee Higgins had a standout performance, racking up 225 receiving yards, making a significant impact on the game and helping to keep Cincinnati ahead throughout. Meanwhile, James Cook III led the Bills' ground game with 88 rushing yards, but it wasn't enough to keep pace with the Bengals' aerial assault. Defensively, the Bengals made key plays to stifle the Bills' momentum, with Jonathan Allen contributing two sacks to pressure the opposing quarterback. Jeff Okudah also stood out with four total tackles, helping to limit Buffalo's offensive opportunities. The game's turning point came when Burrow connected with Higgins for a long touchdown late in the second quarter, shifting the momentum firmly in Cincinnati's favor and setting the tone for the remainder of the contest.
