In a decisive Divisional Round matchup, the Atlanta Falcons topped the Seattle Seahawks 41-16, securing their place in the next round of the playoffs. With the stakes high in the 2026 season, the Falcons showcased a powerful performance, leaving no doubt about their championship aspirations. Offensively, Joe Milton led the charge for Atlanta, throwing for two touchdowns and efficiently managing the game. Jalen Milroe, despite the loss, put up impressive numbers for Seattle with 308 passing yards, while Jaxon Smith-Njigba emerged as a standout receiver, racking up 140 yards through the air. However, Bijan Robinson struggled to find his rhythm on the ground, finishing with just 41 rushing yards. Defensively, the Falcons made their mark with a stellar performance, highlighted by Avieon Terrell's two interceptions that shifted momentum in their favor. Jalen Carter added to the pressure with a sack, disrupting Milroe's rhythm and contributing to a defensive effort that limited Seattle's scoring opportunities. The turning point came late in the first half when Terrell's second interception set up a quick touchdown, effectively putting the game out of reach for the Seahawks.
