In a decisive Week 9 matchup, the Chicago Bears secured a 24-10 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, reinforcing their playoff aspirations in the 2026 season. The win marks a crucial moment for the Bears as they continue to build momentum in the second half of the season. Offensively, Joe Milton led the charge for Chicago, throwing for two touchdowns and providing a steady presence under center. Meanwhile, Jordan Love of the Buccaneers managed 188 passing yards but struggled to find the end zone, with Matthew Golden standing out as his top target, racking up 132 receiving yards. Jacory Croskey-Merritt added to the offensive efforts for Tampa Bay with a solid 69 rushing yards, but it wasn't enough to keep pace with the Bears. Defensively, the Chicago Bears dominated the line of scrimmage, with Laiatu Latu recording an impressive 2.5 sacks to disrupt the Buccaneers' rhythm. Germaine Pratt also made his mark with a key interception, contributing to a defensive effort that stifled Tampa Bay's scoring opportunities. The turning point came in the second quarter when Milton's touchdown pass extended the Bears' lead, forcing the Buccaneers to play catch-up for the remainder of the game.
